Hey everyone, it's been a wee bit quiet here lately.
Wiv all the new entrants expected in F1 for 2010, what do u think is the liklihood of Taku getting a seat wiv one of these teams? They need an experienced driver to lead the team and Taku has that. What's your opinion? |

Keep the Faith!
Billy, I hope you are right but there are very few comebacks. I know Taku has a habit of making his statements come true and he said he had unfinished business so I would be stupid to say "no chance" _________________ El Presidenti |

| Yes they did Vince, and they've put in an application too. its going to be strange though, because i'm sure half of the new teams put in an application so that they can race against the big guns, Ferrari, McLaren etc but now Mosley's told them they can go somewhere else, its all up in the air! so much going on, so unpredictable |

you all already know about the breakaway, i say it would be great, but can the teams really put up a new series in 6 months??
we will have to wait and see, and i think that the tteams have just made this move to warn max & bernie that they are serious for the last time
but if thery really do break away, just think of the great tracks the teams can bring back suzuka, canada, even silverstone
and i don't think that much people will still watch F1 after that.
also, the rumor is that BBC will sue bernie if the most attractive teams leave, and break the contract. _________________ BMW POWER

It has the feel of yet more "I dare you!" stuff. I doubt it will happen - but I would be very happy if it did ... two different series both looking for drivers? must bode well for a comeback _________________ El Presidenti |

I think the teams can put up a new series in 6 months. The fact of the matter is, everybody wants to see F1 with Ferrari and McLaren. Bernie knows he's got no commercial power without those on board, which is why they're so keen to get a concorde agreement signed up.
I really do think we need a reform at the FiA come the elections. Vatanen is very much my preferred candidate, the FiA is losing its credibility, especially with the selection of the new teams. I'm very intrigued to see their selection process, because for an independent body, making cosworth the engine supplier of an entrant a requisite really goes against the fact that there should be no bias and complete transparency with the FiA |
