no. it's always been allowed ever since 1996... and you used to be able to buy old team kit from mechanics over the wall until some idiot security guards started attempting to arrest the said mechanics around 2001-2002... _________________ 04: The Rising Son Cometh

Hey V1nce, want ketchup with that?
Not till April 16th hey . Brawn may have won the race on the track but they haven’t followed the correct FIA procedure of winning the race in the court room weeks later. And till correct FIA procedure has been followed the result means nothing.
Not taking away for the result but the real test will be next weekend in Kuala Lumpur. Melbourne, much like Montreal, tends to throw up odd results (which is hardly surprising considering the similarity of the circuits). There’s no doubt in my mind that Button's win showed the real pace of the car, but Ruben's 2nd place was fluke, given Kubica's late race charge and vettel's brain fade.

I'm much the same. The teams personality seems to have filled a gap somewhere between Super Aguri (plucky underdogs) and Jordan (fun) which is great, but I don’t want to be involved with all those causal fans swimming away from the seemingly sinking good ship lewis hamilton (he was so lucky to pick up that 3rd place). Brawn could have given us a little more time to nail our colours to their mast before stuffing everyone. |

I do not think so, James. It's not embarassing at all for them.
This car is MADE BY HONDA, but noone payed attention to that.
Surprisingly M.Schumacher was saying exactly that on RTL, and this time he is right.
Honda spend hunderds of million dollars and started developing that car months ago before the other teams did.
Maybe they spend too much money, and then came the economical crisis at that wrong time...
Probably that was the reason to retire, because they could not know how successful they could be in 2009.
The guys made a fantastic job behind the scenes of the 2008 season with Honda's help.
And now we face this ironic situation, and they thank Mercedes...
They have to be very proud for making a champion-car, and then to retire! I could only say HOW COOL
James, by the way did you get my email about my Australia visit? I sent it at the teamazm.com domain. |

Thank you for your wishes Mark! And to everyone else, i understand the mixed emotions thrown around! Rubens was very lucky to be second, that freak accident by kubica and vettel was nothing short of strange...but i've seen the damage that heikki did to the rear of Rubens' car and to get around that quickly is a damn good drive i must say!
I too hate it when people call us a brand new team, as if when honda pulled out, nothing happened at the factory for 4 months until brawn announced that the MBO went through! Its not a coincidence that only the people with actual F1 know how, ie Schumacher, Eddie Jordan, rightly credit Honda. And we do credit Honda immensely. Honda have put more help in not only keeping the team alive, but seeing us through to Melbourne than anyone, so the Honda Execs should not be falling flat on their face, but be proud of what they acheived. Pulling out was a business decision, but keeping Brawn GP going was Honda Heart.
And that License plate is really cool! |

| Quote: | According to Sports Pro Daily Deal, the Virgin Group – owned by billionaire British entrepreneur Richard Branson, a self-confessed 'cheapskate' – is set to commit to a $30 million title sponsorship contract for the 2010 campaign, in exchange for exclusive rights to sell any other advertising space on the BGP 001 for its own profit. That has prompted one insider to remark: “If it gets $80 million, which it might, Virgin will keep $50 million – it's a good deal.”
The new deal has been aided by F1 commercial rights-holder Bernie Ecclestone, whilst in the meantime the current 2009 arrangement looks set to continue, with Brawn GP understood to be already catered for by a $150 million allowance from Honda. Branson has also hinted that he is interested in purchasing an equity stake in the team – and possibly even re-naming it Virgin. |
$30million... handy when thats all you can spend next season. |

| Isn't $30million a bit of a bargain for a race winning team and being a title sponsor? I understand that money are short, especially for racing, anyhow I hope that the team is able to get enough finance to keep them going. Well Done to everyone at Brawn GP to make this happen. |

30million is also the amount of TV money Flav does want Brawn to see!
Reason why... Because Renault dont have the budget for a double decked diffuser. Well why the hell did Alonso run with 1 in China?
I hope he'll be paying back Renault's TV money for 2005-06 when they were gaining an advantage with mass dampers. |

Well, it looks like Branson will get his money and a bit more
Flavio got more than he bargained for too
As I say on the front page article though ... Vettel might be spoiling Button's party. How bullet-proof are those Brawns?
My love of Button apart, you have to give kudos to Brawn/Honda/SAF1 those cars have been awesome. _________________ El Presidenti |

| Yes, I couldn't agree more with Mark's article on the front page. I bet STR is now kicking themselves not give Taku that drive for this yr, as usual their drivers are doing anything but binning the car. |
