Behind the scenes, or in the pitlane, there are over a hundred people that have made SAF1 the team that we love.
Here is your chance to write a quick note which will be read by some of them ... you do NOT need to register to be able to post here, it would be nice to leave your name - or your tab - but it is not compulsory.
Please have respect, it is not a place for ill mannered comments (there are other places you can go) and I will delete any which I feel would embarrass my intentions. _________________ El Presidenti |

From me, I would like to send my very warmest wishes to absolutely everyone at Leafield and Company A for providing such an awesome culture of passion and friendship.
Never have I had the pleasure of meeting such a fine set of people in sport before.
Thank you for the smiles, the welcomes, and the privileges you have bestowed on me and the friends I brought along.
I will miss you as a whole, and hope to see many of you again in what is a very small pool of expertise.
Thank you all. _________________ El Presidenti |

Thank you very, very much to everyone on the team for showing us what true Fighting Spirit is. Your dedication and pride were readily apparent.
You embodied the 'FUN!' of actual racing and we're really really going to miss Super Aguri. It's a shame, because for many of us, you were the REAL Honda F1 team. |

F1 isn't going to be the same without Super Aguri.
The whole team did an incredible job to get the team on the grid in the first place and then gave us all something to cheer about in those 2 and a bit short years. Everything the team has achieved has been amazing and i'm proud to be a Super Aguri supporter.
So thank you to everyone at Super Aguri for giving me something to smile about, the passion and dedication at the team is second to none.
I wish all the best in the future to all Super Aguri employees and my only regret is that I never made it to a race to see Super Aguri in action on a race weekend although I was lucky enought to see the car at a test so I can't complain too much!
Thank you _________________

Like Kirsten said, F1 just isn't going to be the same w/o the "little team that could". It was the drive and the passion that pulled me in as a fan in the first place, and that very drive and passion was evident to the very last day.
I've never been around such a dedicated group of fans....and a team/organization that truley aknowledges and respects us fans. I give all my best wishes to everyone in the Super Aguri team, may you all find security and happiness in the very near future.
There may not be a "Super Aguri" anymore, but there will always be a following....just b/c there was an end for our beloved team, doesn't mean we the fans are going anywhere. I know I plan to continue to show my support for SAF1, and remember the hard working and driven team that just couldn't make it in today's politics of the sport. There may have never been a podium finish, but Super Aguri was always first in my heart.

Well Done to everybody who had helped making Super Aguri possible, you people had done a job where other people just thought will be impossible, even though it was only about 2 years, you were the best. Making F1 fun to watch, the never give up spirit, push above the car's limit, I will never forget the time when I couldn't watch the TV in Canada 07 because a little team had beaten a very big team and nicknamed "Giant Killers".
I am a proud supporter of SAF1 and good luck and be proud you are part of this best team in the history of F1.

I want to thank the team for bringing the japanese spirit to the F1. SA has allways given it best to perfom and sucess! I want to thanks Aguri and all the others for the exciting time I had the last years, watching the team fighting. When Takuma overtaked Alonso in Canada, this was the highlight of the Season for me! You all did the greatest job ever in the F1. Thank you!
鈴木あぐりさん、

ずっと頑張りましたから、レースは何時もドキドキでした。
また本当にありがとうございます! |

Dear Super Aguri F1 Team,
Aguri Suzuki, Daniele Audetto and many more formed this great team two years ago.
Nobody in his dreams thought you were able to form a competitive F1 team using an old Arrows chassis and even compete with the other teams.
I am so thankful that you participated in formula one as you brought so much joy to all of us.
You tought eveybody that it is not only money but hard work and cleverness to gain success.
You fought with the big players and showed everybody that your team was worth evey penny it spent.
Thanx to all of you.
I am very sad now that we lost the most charming team.
Formula one lost even more... |

I would like to say "Thank you!" to the most enthusiastic team in Formula-1. I'm really sad to see them leaving... I think, most of the F1 fans - regardless of which team they support - will be missing the Super Aguri team on the grid. It's a shame, that nobody in F1 cares, how these fans feel... Well, at least, not those who could do something.
I'd like to wish every single member of the team all the best.
Please, keep your passion for racing...
Andrea
P.S.: I have a crazy little idea... Excuse me for posting it here, but I'm not a member of the forum, and I can't post in other threads...
I guess, you have already noticed, that there's no Team Japan in A1GP, yet! Wouldn't it be on time to show some real Japanese racing spirit in the World Cup of Motorsport? I know, it's not F1, but hey... It's a wonderful series, and I think, there's a lot of potential in it... With the guys from the Super Aguri team and with Taku in the monocoque, with all the knowledge and experience of the team I can't see any reason, why Team Japan wouldn't be successful in A1GP. And A1GP needs big, well known names... The fan base of A1GP is increasing fast, and the idea of national teams is similar to the idea SAF1 had at the beginning... And I think, A1GP is not as expensive as F1.
Please, Aguri-san, build up Team Japan in A1GP, if technically, financially, etc. possible. I really cannot imagine a better team as Team Japan than the current Super Aguri team... It would be a great addition to the World Cup of Motorsport, and I think, everybody on this forum and all the fans in Japan would be more than happy. |
