Hi, yes a few of us have been before ...
Tips? Wellie boots ha ha... I had a top ticket opposite the pits and had to walk through a muddy field to get there, but I think they have rectified that.
Take toilet paper. The toilets are disgusting and usually out of papier Yeuk!
Be prepared to tell them to top your your beer up, LOL
The course is one of the best.
The village comes alive on GP days, and there are miles of stalls and food outlets. Yum... for me the local boulangerie was a highlight (but then I am a gutsy so an so).
Pay someone to take Webber out! He ruined my trip by taking Taku out on the way up to Eau Rouge.
Eau Rouge is stunning, what a hill! If you can, buy a ticket there - unless like me you like watching garage action.
Don't drive in Brussells ... one-way Hell, honestly, it took me TWO hours to find my hotel Sunday night ... arghh!
Learn a little French if you don't know the basics, because it helps.
Enjoy! You will be amongst some knowledgeable (SP?) people.
There will be other SAF1 fans there too... say hi from me _________________ El Presidenti |

Ooo... I forgot ... small side streets of Brussells ... food heaven ... Moulles Marinere, or the biggest tastiest Peaella you have ever seen ... my mouth is drooling just recalling the smells and flavours of that one small lane.
This is one GP that your really MUST take a little extra time over.
Oh, the peeing statue is small and a little bit of a let-down stuck in the back streets outside someone's back yard _________________ El Presidenti |

The real center of Brussels is indeed a pain.
Even myself (being from Brussels), I don't really like driving there. Small streets, and yeah one-way
Spa has had a lot of reconstruction, so I hope all the bad points that Mark had (2 years ago?) has been fixed.
I really wish all fans could enjoy Spa as much as possible!
It's a wonderful track, so it's a shame the infrastructure is (was? ) bad!
I hope you'll enjoy being over there!
And let us know your feedback |
