Hi Gavin, how's testing going?

Tyres, engines, settings, all have specific programmes to follow, do you do the same in radio comms, or is it less formal?

Also, do you tape the comms during tests or races for play back later?

Hi Mark,
Testing is going well, although the weather is not very good. A cold and wet start yesterday meant that the number of laps completed was very much reduced. Hopefully today (Wednesday) the weather will improve and a full program will be run.
As for the comms during testing, it is very much the same as during a race - the idea is that if we use the same procedures during testing, they become second nature during a race.

タイヤ、エンジン、セッティングなど全てが決められた特定のプログラムに従いますが、無線交信でも同様なのでしょうか。それともそれほど形どおりではないのでしょうか。
また、テストやレース中の交信内容を、後で再生するために録音するのですか。

A:マークさん、こんにちは。
天候があまりよくありませんが、テストは順調に進んでいます。昨日は寒かった上にウェットでのスタートでしたので、消化できた周回数は大幅に減ってしまいました。願わくば今日（水曜日）は天候が回復してフル・プログラムを消化できるといいのですが。
テスト中の無線交信に関してはどうかといいますと、レース中とほぼ同じです　－　テスト中に同じ手順で行ったことが、レース中の手順になるという考え方です。
