Despite Yahoo Sports reporting that Taku seems set to land the Red Bull reserve driver position, SAF1.org can reveal that the story has no legs.

As yet another door closes (Red Bull are set to announce another driver to take the third seat) Taku's chances for 2009 are diminishing. Sadness will no doubt be the overwhelming emotion for me when Melbourne kicks of the 2009 season without Taku. For the first time in a long time, I will catch the recorded re-run.
