In 24 hrs I will have a good idea whether or not my interest in F1 has been rekindled.

Certainly as I spoke to Taku's management team tonight, little hairs on the back of my neck started to tingle again.

Taku spent the day on the wall today talking with the engineers, learning the TR tech talk (every team has a slightly different take on communication) and watching how the team work. His experience is a very valuable commodity to a team and he knows it.

Everything is in place and ready to go. The seat fitting last week went without hitch, a new suit in TR colours awaits him. Taku is at the peak of fitness, and communicating well with the team.

Everything is in the balance.

Taku has got to be good enough to dislodge Bourdais ... that's the feeling. 

We all know he can do that, given the chance. So fingers crossed for a reliable car and a sweet track - because this IS his chance, and they don't come that often.
