Autosport is reporting fresh troubles for Super Aguri F1 team, as the backers of the Magma deal water down the offer.

We hope with all our heart that this is wrong or a mis-quote, but it appears the team is struggling to make the grid at Spain.

Other offers were available, but the Magma deal was accepted because it appeared to give the best chance of becoming a constructor ahead of the deadlines. Now it may be that things have to be re-thought. We understand that a German automobile giant waits in the wings ... hopefully they have their pen and cheque book ready.
