Super Aguri Fans Around the World Petition Honda

In a co-ordinated attempt to make Honda aware of the depth of support for Super Aguri F1 Team, fans from around the world are being urged to write to Honda.

Several fan websites and forums have urged members to write directly as talks between Honda and Aguri Suzuki continue.

As a small but exciting team, SAF1 has a large Japanese and a reasonable European fan base, with the main UK fan site www.saf1.org having over 138,000 visitors.

The unique approach of drivers and team to the fans (making real efforts to befriend them and engage with them at every opportunity) has led to a very strong bond, so much so that when news broke of the talks between Aguri-san and Honda, fans rallied to make their feelings known.

Honda have already formulated a standard reply to deal with the high number of emails being received:

Dear

This is Honda customer center.
Thank you very much for being interested in the Honda motor sports.

Mr. Suzuki, representative's of the team comment is announced at a press interview.

The preparation is positively advanced aiming at the participation of F1.
Therefore, the press interview didn't  participate in Mr. Suzuki for the preparation for the F1 participation.
Honda recognizes an independent team SAF1.

The assumption supported by Honda is that SAF1 originally manages the team.

There is no change in the idea of supporting it within the regulated range.
We look forward to your continued support.

Thank you very much for your kind understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely yours

Fans now await the outcome of the critical talks. One thing is for sure though, if F1 cars ran on passion, Super Aguri would be leading the Barcelona times.
