Sakon has a very difficult time ahead. Having driven a Friday for Jordan at last year's Suzuka (he had brought a lot of money with him that day) he seems to have got the taste for F1. He follows Yuji's public humiliation of having his super licence withdrawn. Aguri-san will be very keen not to repeat that type of incident again.

Sakon has shown enough promise on his Friday runs to be awarded the second seat and joins Takuma on the start line. So far he has had rotten luck with broken driveshafts and sliding off a wet Hungaroring. But his practice sessions and qualification times have been reasonable so far.

This is his first season (just two races at the time of writing) and he has much to learn - but he is showing very willing and very capable at the moment. We are looking to see him progress very quickly, and challenge Takuma on the timesheets.
