Very few people have ever been told to slow down by an F1 driver passenger, but one reader has had that experience. Chosen to drive in the Drivers' Parade Lap of this year's Australian GP, John was assigned to none other than Takuma Sato. Super Aguri F1 Team have announced Takuma and Anthony as drivers number 18 and 19 respectively, despite negotiations continuing on salary. According to reports, the team are keen for both to be retained and are negotiating - but with the lack of a major sponsor, those negotiations are going to be tough for the drivers to swallow. The team had a tight budget in 2007, and 2008 is likely to be even tighter. With all the other driver places (except one) announced, it is unlikely that Taku and Anthony will be going anywhere other than SAF1 ... but you never know with F1. See the full grid here |
