Takuma Sato completed his first ever IRL test days at Barber Motorsports Park, Alabama this week.
Running up against series champion teams Penske and Ganassi, Taku posted P2 for most of the afternoon and at one stage posted P1.
After doing heavy fuel runs later in the day, he finished an impressive 6th place overall. Read the full press release:

With the news of Taku's switch to Indy car, Anton and I will be reviving these pages and realigning some of the content. As the kind chaps we are, I guess we should be asking you what you want changed or added to. So log on and let us know in the forums in the topic "New Site". I promise to read all of it - but I can't promise that we can do everything you ask for (Adamos asking us to stream the races might be beyond us for now lol) Come on people - let us know. |

Announced in Tokyo this morning, Takuma Sato will be racing in USA Indy cars for 2010! The bleak dark winter is over, and Summer is on the way! Catch him racing oon ovals, track, and street courses as the season moves around in a growing number of countries. More later ... I have a day job to do :-) |
